Here’s the scoop for summer rugby:
Every Thursday night, starting next week the 10th, from 7ish to dusk at Andrews we will be going live. It’s a case of show up, pick sides and go for it. Those that want to play league can do that if they want, there is no obligation with summer fun.
As for sevens, practice will be Thursdays 6.30pm before the live game and after if there is light. That gives us five weeks to get in shape. All welcome. Thinking about three tournaments:-
The Midnight 7’s at pier 40 NY on July 10
The New Haven Rugby 7’s, because it’s close, on July 17th
And Newport 7’s RI July 24 to end the season.
I am looking into getting a house for the weekend, girlfriends welcome, anyone interested or have contacts let me know.
If there is interest we can do the Bocephus 10’s August 14th.
After that the tour to Montreal for Labor Day w/e. Clear your calendars, tell your boyfriend you won’t be home that weekend, it’s time for a road trip. Start saving your sheckles and your brownie points.
